Matthew is a Board Certified Specialist in Trademark Law. Matthew’s practice is focused on trademark prosecution and general intellectual property litigation. Matthew has an active trademark prosecution practice. He conducts availability searches, prosecutes applications and maintains portfolios. Matthew also represents litigants in intellectual property cases in federal court and before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. Matthew is also an NCDRC Superior Court Mediator. Matthew obtained a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Mary Washington and a Juris Doctor from the Pennsylvania State University Dickinson School of Law. He is a member of the North Carolina State Bar and the Florida State Bar. Prior to entering private practice, Matthew served as a Judicial Clerk to Hon. Richard Sanders on the Washington State Supreme Court.
